On July 16, 2005, we celebrated our 20th Annual Walker Family Reunion. The event was held at J.C. Phelps Recreation Center in Dallas, TX, with an approximate attendance of 150 people. There was food, fun & games, the band and we elected new officers for 2006 (soon to be updated in the committe section).

...listening to diffent family members speak on patriarchs!

Needless to say, if you missed this reunion, You Missed Out! We had an excellent menu that consisted of bbq brisket and chicken, vegetables, banana pudding and peach cobbler. There were various activities planned such as board game tournaments, some sporting activities for the young (and young at heart), and of course, the talent show where our family band rocked the house with new songs such as Usher's "Yeah" and some old school flavor in the late Ray Charles's "Night Time Is The Right Time"!

Loretta Bolden, family historian, put together a great exhibit that displayed the family tree, the different branches and countless historical facts. It's always good to know where you came from so you can see where you're going.

A new group of enthusiastic individuals were elected to head up the family reunion committee. PLease provide these members your everlasting support as they continue the tradition of the Annual Walker Family Reunion. The 2006 reunion will be held at Lake O'Pine.

The REECE/HOLLINS/RAY 2006 Family Reunion
